Hello Betsythedevine!
First, the boilerplate message: Hello! Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. --(WT-en) Ilkirk 12:49, 29 Nov 2005 (EST)
Next, suggested reading: Welcome, Wikipedians.
Finally, thanks! Really - thanks a ton for crossing over and taking a stab at preparing for Wikimania. I, for one, am very excited to see WikiPedians looking to WikiTravel for their information - I think its really cool.
However, I wanted to make sure you saw the differences in policies and styles. For example, the external links you added to the Boston page really don't work within the Manual of style and/or the External links policy. I've moved them to the talk page for safe keeping and later use instead of blasting them completely.
I'll see what I might able to do in an effort to contribute to those articles despite my lack of experience in the area.
Thanks again! -- (WT-en) Ilkirk 12:49, 29 Nov 2005 (EST)
