Hello! Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

Are you in Montreal? Oh, and how did you hear about Wikivoyage? --(WT-en) Majnoona 10:06, 22 Jul 2004 (EDT)

Hi! I found that you are a founder of this site! Amazing. Yes, I am from Montreal and living here actually. I heard about Wikivoyage 5 days ago reading an old article in Voir magazine. But, I am familiar with this technology. I used it to give courses in colleges. You are doing an awesome job with this site! Keep up the good work! --(WT-en) Buddy1111 22:45, 24 Jul 2004 (EDT)

Thanks! The "awesome job" really comes from everyone who contributes... we're just along for the ride most of the time. Glad you like it and look forward to your contributions-- we still have a ways to go on Montreal and the surrounding area. Oh, and you can sign up for http://wikivoyage.meetup.com, we love meeting wikivoyagers in person. (WT-en) Majnoona 12:37, 25 Jul 2004 (EDT)
I visited the link you gave me. The only problem is that you must pay to email people. Perhaps we might set up a meet with people in Montreal by email. It seems we are not much from here, so it may be easier that way. What do you think? --(WT-en) Buddy1111 15:30, 25 Jul 2004 (EDT)
Just wanted to relancer l'idée d'une rencontre à Montréal. On est effectivement que quatre, dont deux qui sont ensemble, but it could still be interesting to gather for a coffee or something, whenever everyone has nothing better to do! --(WT-en) Valmi 23:19, 26 Sep 2004 (EDT)
