Hello, Cape Scuba Club! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

That was the official standard welcome.

The additional personal welcome follows.

Hi and welcome to Wikivoyage divesites. It is great to have someone else doing some real editing of the Cape Town sites. I see that you have been experiencing the steep part of the learning curve, but have nevertheless managed to upload several photos and get them where you wanted them and with the captions you wanted. I have made a few cleanup edits on spelling and formatting and de-commented a couple of section headers so they will show up in the hope that they will now get some text added.

Something I should point out: The pictures you uploaded have a copyright symbol. This should be removed, as you have chosen to upload them with CC-by-SA 3.0 licence, which means you allow anyone to use them as long as they provide attribution. The Cape Scuba Club logo is fine, but if you can remove the little ringed C it would be appreciated, as otherwise someone may mark the files for deletion as copyright infringement.

I see the photos are attributed to JP Maistre. Is that you or did you just get the photos from JP?

Anyway, happy editing, and if you have any problems or queries feel free to contact me through my talk page.

Cheers, • • • (WT-en) Peter (Southwood) Talk 13:51, 21 January 2012 (EST)
