Hello DeepPurple! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

Hey I see you are doing a lot of good work on our Utah articles! Are you from there, or just very familiar with the area? --(WT-en) Peter Talk 17:06, 8 August 2007 (EDT)

Wikipedia links edit

Hi, DeepPurple and welcome! Policy on these links is at: Project:Links to Wikipedia. In general we minimize the links in the article text. I thought the one you had on the trees OK and left it, but someone else might disagree later. Folks can look up anything they don't understand easily enough on their own if necessary, but we should really have the cool stuff here anyways (for example you explained the unusual nest of the bird--maybe could even expand on that). A standard Wikipedia link is provided in the left margin as explained. Good stuff, though. Keep it coming! (WT-en) OldPine 11:41, 15 August 2007 (EDT)

Bunya... edit

No problem! Also, to sign your name on talk pages just add ~~~~, which will print out your name and stamp the date. Welcome! – (WT-en) cacahuate talk 11:58, 16 September 2007 (EDT)

The photo in question went through the Project:Votes for deletion process. I nominated it because it was against our Project:Image_policy#People_in_photos policy.

You can see the vfd result at Project:Votes_for_deletion/October_2007#Image:Mauritius_Port-Louis_Meat_Market.JPG
