Travellers' pub question

The genre (type) of movie you asked about is called a documentary or sometimes a travelouge. Unfortunately, there are few films like this that cater to travellers. Conde Nast Traveller did do a survey among its readers of which commercial films they believed best depicted the destinations the film was based in. You may be able to find this article by searching Conde Nast's website. Also, there are a few travel channels available in the U.S. and worldwide via satellites.

Also, regarding uploading images to Wikivoyage I don't think the idea is feasible because of the amount of space videos would require. Also, Wikivoyage attempts to prevent articles and images from being personal so that they can be used by others. Most travellers that make videos often make videos of family at the Arc de Triumph in Paris, and that just wouldn't be very helpful to other travellers. Ok, the reason I deleted the links was because it was under the header "External links," which we no longer use on Wikivoyage because "We should have travel information in Wikivoyage, not linked to from Wikivoyage. This is an incentive issue; if we have lots of links to other travel guides, we lose the impetus to create our own. In addition, many users print copies of Wikivoyage articles, and therefore need information to be within the article rather than linked to at another site." Also, please read over Where did the External links section go?, which will explain why we no longer use that section. I'm afraid I'll have to delete the links again, however I'm willing to work with you. Are the movies really useful? Actually, I didn't realize the link was a download. We'll have to ask others what they think first because allowing this will encourage others to add links also. Unfortunately, someone may not have great intentions and the download may in fact be a virus. the spelling

No one expects perfect spelling, but I would like to point out that the correct spelling of "the" is not "teh", and taking the time to get this correct would make your comments much easier to read. - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 13:50, 3 July 2006 (EDT)

thx for mentioning , i always do that and relay on the spell checkers.but i haven't seen one still in wikivoyage,anyway i will try to remmber that every time.thanks agin for mentioning
