Hello! Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

I, also, like glaciers, although I've only been on a couple in Alaska (near Juneau and Skagway). I read somewhere that there's an active glacier in California, but I'm not sure where, and I've never seen it. We better get as many glaciers as possible documented here on Wikivoyage, while they're still around! --(WT-en) Evan 08:25, 28 Feb 2004 (EST)

Done and done. I actually plunged forward a while ago, first anonymously and then with a login, on the Seattle and Idaho entries. The Manual of style needs some improvement w.r.t. districts of cities, at least it doesn't seem to be working out very well for Philadelphia and there was some contention over Seattle.

Really, who doesn't like glaciers? The glacier in California is on Mount Shasta. I fly over it regularly in my small airplane, so maybe I should post some pictures. I guess I should also write about the Wrangell-St. Elias mountains and national park in Alaska where that picture was taken. Perhaps someday soon. . . -- (WT-en) Doug 23:41, 28 Feb 2004 (PST)
