Hi, Freshi! Welcome to Wikivoyage. Thanks for plunging forward so far. If you're going to continue working on Wikivoyage, you may find the tips for new contributors helpful.

You should also make sure you understand our copyleft and policies and guidelines. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted.

If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub or on the talk page for the most appropriate article.

Since you're Swiss, you may also be interested in our German and/or our French versions. We don't have an Italian-language version, but there's an Italian Wikivoyage Expedition to get one started. We don't have a Romanche version... hmm. B-) Hope you enjoy, --(WT-en) Evan 22:37, 22 March 2006 (EST)

Uploading images edit

Dear Freshi,

Instead of uploading images on this site could you upload them to the Shared_site? This makes it easier for us to maintain the images and the site. You will need to create a_Shared_user_name, but that is the exact same process as creating an image on the regular Wikivoyage. Also, if you want to get back to the regular wikivoyage site all you have to do is retype www.wikivoyage.org back into the browser's address bar.

Thanks! - (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 22:36, 24 May 2006 (EDT)

Oops! I didn't see this until after I uploaded even more images. Any help in transfering them would be welcome. User:(WT-en) Freshi

No problem. I'll help out. - (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 22:44, 24 May 2006 (EDT)
Forgot to ask which license do you want to release the images under? That way I can transfer them. - (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 22:46, 24 May 2006 (EDT)
The most liberal one. (WT-en) Freshi
Alirght, I think that would be GDFL and CC-BY-SA 1.0 or later. - (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 22:58, 24 May 2006 (EDT)
