Hello! Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. --(WT-en) Majnoona 20:06, 7 Jul 2004 (EDT)

Thanks for the standard welcome message! (Just kidding, it is appreciated :-P) I'm still mostly new to the whole wiki thing, but so far it's been quite enjoyable. (WT-en) Gorath99 13:29, 2004 Jul 8 (EDT)
Sorry. They're usually a little more personal, but we had a flood of new users over the last few days and I just wanted to get a "howdy" out to each of them... Thanks for your work on the Netherlands and all your spelling/typo fixes. Glad you are enjoying the site. Oh, and can I ask how you heard about wikivoyage? (WT-en) Majnoona 14:55, 8 Jul 2004 (EDT)
Heh, no need for apologies; I understand all too well. Been on both sides of the situation. No need to thank me either. Can't very well let my home country stay underrepresented, now can I? :-)
I heard about the site at slashdot. There was a recent article about wikipedia, which I've used on occasion, but which is so well developed that I don't have much to contribute to it. Wikivoyage sounded interesting and since my home country appeared to be lacking in information, I simply couldn't resist contributing a bit. (WT-en) Gorath99 15:09, 2004 Jul 8 (EDT)
