Hello! Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. Thank you for your contributions to San Salvador. However, all images uploaded here must be explicitly licensed as public domain or CC by-sa 1.0 — do you have the photographer's permission? --(WT-en) Jpatokal 00:16, 9 Aug 2005 (EDT)

Hi, it's kind of the owner of the El Salvador website to let us use the pictures. However, for consistency's sake, we need to have a single set of rules for using all our contents. It's okay if an image comes with more permission to use than our normal license, but it is not okay to have less. We want to make our content easy to reuse by other people, so we need to assure all re-users that as long as they stick by CC-bySA, they are okay to reuse our stuff. Since the CC-bySA rules are not the sole restrictions on the El Salvador pictures, we cannot have them here. Thanks for trying so hard -- your efforts are appreciated! -- (WT-en) Colin 15:49, 30 Dec 2005 (EST)
