A couple of pointers that might you might find helpful :

• There is an itinerary template available at Project:Itinerary article template. It will be good if you can include the headings in that template, i.e. understand, prepare etc.
• Have a quick look at Project:Manual of style, especially Project:First person pronouns
• Uploading images to Wikivoyage Shared allows all language version access to those images rather than just the en version. See Project:Image policy for more info on images.
• You can have a look at Project:List of itineraries for examples of other itineraries.
