Hello Joel! Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are having trouble with some of the terms being used, check out the jargon page.

Thank you for contributing to Ashikaga and welcome to Wikivoyage. --(WT-en) Tom Holland (xltel) 07:37, 31 March 2006 (EST)

Great work on Ashikaga, keep it up! (WT-en) Jpatokal 22:04, 3 April 2006 (EDT)
Wow, you're spreading your tentacles all over Japan! One tip: if you upload pictures, you might want to put them on Wikivoyage Shared instead, so they can be used in other language versions too. (WT-en) Jpatokal 00:35, 23 June 2006 (EDT)

Ashikaga

Hi Joel, thanks for your contributions! I just wanted to mention that it helps if you make a note, either on the talk page or in the summary field, when you remove a listing. That way other folks know if its a)no longer there or b)not worth recommending, since some folks may want to talk about the removal. Thanks (WT-en) Majnoona 20:01, 1 May 2006 (EDT)

Thanks, Maj. You caught me between the Cut and the Paste. I just moved a 'sports bar'-type listing from the Eat to the Drink section of Ashikaga. It's still listed. It's hard to know which category to put some Japanese Izakaya into.
