Hello!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. You can edit your preferences to change how the software works for you. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to our wiki software, MediaWiki, look at the Wiki markup to get an idea of how to edit a page. If you need help, check out the help desk, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

Thanks for your contributions to the the Cincinnati guide, which is one of my favorite cities. Go Bengals! However, I put Image:Oktoberfest Cincinnati.jpg up for deletion because it may or may not violate our Project:Privacy rights policy. Please feel free to express your opinion on the Project:Votes for deletion page. Thanks. And if you have any questions feel free to ask. -- (WT-en) Sapphire(Talk) • 22:56, 24 February 2007 (EST)

By the way, someone cropped the image so that it would comply with our policies so we kept the image, though I haven't added it back into the guide. -- (WT-en) Sapphire(Talk) • 15:17, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

Hello again,

Could you please tell us where you got Image:P_and_G_Twin_Towers.jpg and Image:Great_American_Ballpark_2006.jpg from? More specifically, who took the photos and owns the copyright to them?

Also, please upload future images to Wikivoyage Shared. You'll need another account, but this helps us tremendously. -- (WT-en) Sapphire(Talk) • 00:28, 25 April 2007 (EDT)

If you have a problem with the text in an article, please discuss your concerns on the talk page for that article, not in the article itself. You can detail your concerns and we can try to work toward an acceptable draft on the talk page, not through attacking the article within the article itself. Please see Project:The_traveller_comes_first and Project:Tone. (WT-en) Gorilla Jones 17:51, 26 June 2007 (EDT)

Hey Keith! I thought I would save you some time by pointing out that you can automatically sign your name by typing: four tildes (~~~~). Best! --(WT-en) Peter Talk 14:19, 27 June 2007 (EDT)

Just wanted to thank you for your great contributions to the Cincinnati article lately, especially those restaurants - that's an area where we really depend on people with local knowledge. Thanks to your additions, anyone who uses the guide has a great range to choose from. And thanks for using the tags to add the listings. Try to keep an eye out for opening and closing hours, since those are helpful for tourists. (WT-en) Gorilla Jones 14:08, 29 June 2007 (EDT)
