Welcome

edit

Hello!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. You can edit your preferences to change how the software works for you. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to our wiki software, MediaWiki, look at the Wiki markup to get an idea of how to edit a page. If you need help, check out the help desk, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

Thanks for your work on Marina del Rey. I've tried to reformat your additions a bit, but please keep the information coming! --(WT-en) Evan 17:29, 12 December 2006 (EST)

Hello! Thanks again for your contributions to Marina del Rey but I'm not sure if the History content you added fits with our Project:Copyleft and Project:Manual of style. Are you the original author of the content? Would it be possible to shorten it down? Thanks and let me know if you have any questions! (WT-en) Maj 17:40, 22 January 2007 (EST)

Just wanted to confirm that I do have permission to use the contribution from the Marina del Rey Convention and Visitors Bureau for the History submission. Thanks for asking. Marinagal

Hello again! I just thought you might like to take a look at our Project:Tourist Bureau Expedition and review our Project:Tone, specifically Project:Don't tout guidelines. You should also consider becoming a Project:Docent for Marina del Rey! Let me know if you have any questions and thanks again! (WT-en) Maj 14:10, 23 January 2007 (EST)

Restaurant categorization

edit

Hi! I just took a stab at categorizing the now-lengthy restaurant list for Marina del Rey into Wikivoyage's standard "Budget", "Mid-range" and "Splurge" categories, but if you have a chance I'd be grateful if you could update anything I've put into the wrong classification. Thanks! -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 13:13, 8 July 2007 (EDT) Ryan -- Thanks. It's been a crazy summer and I've just now gotten back at looking at web pages. I think you've done a great job. Susanne
