Belmont Park itinerary edit

I'm not sure I like the Walking Tour of Belmont Park as an article. Having an itinerary for a single attraction strikes me as a bit much. I'd rather just expand the Belmont Park listing in the Mission Beach-Pacific Beach article, which I've already done a bit. Please let me know if this satisfies you (you can expand the listing yourself if you like), and we'll delete the Walking Tour of Belmont Park.

The Airport and Old Town articles, on the other hand, are okay by me. :) (WT-en) PerryPlanet 19:10, 9 July 2008 (EDT)

So, do you feel satisfied with the additions to the Belmont Park listing to the Mission Beach-Pacific Beach article? If so, would it be okay if I deleted the Walking Tour of Belmont Park article? If not, tell me what else you'd like to see added to the listing. :) (WT-en) PerryPlanet 12:21, 12 July 2008 (EDT)

Excellent! I'll go ahead and delete the Belmont Park article. (WT-en) PerryPlanet 22:29, 14 July 2008 (EDT)

San Diego travel topics edit

I don't know if you're still contributing here, but I thought I'd try to get your opinion on this. And if you are gone, I'll probably just take matters into my own hands after a while...

You've created 5 travel topics related to San Diego. Some look very useful, but some of them seem like dead weight to me. And 5 seems like a lot.

First off, Boating in San Diego and Getting Active in San Diego are superb. They are full of great information on activities which San Diego is well known for, and all that information wouldn't be so easy to stick into the main San Diego articles. I definitely want those to stay.

However, I'm not so sure about Antique Shopping in San Diego. It's a rather short article, and I'm not entirely sure why we would want to dedicate a whole article to antique shopping in San Diego specifically. Is there something about antique shopping in San Diego which makes it vastly different from antique shopping in another city of similar size? I think I'd rather see the individual shops be put into listings into their respective destination articles, unless there's a very good reason for keeping this article.

The same goes for Disabled Travel in San Diego. Again, is there something disabled travelers should know about San Diego in particular as opposed to traveling in any other city? Currently the article is merely a short list of destinations and activities which cater to disabled travelers - but I think you'd be hard pressed not to find a destination in San Diego which didn't cater to disabled persons - we would have to write a book about all the places which did. Unless there is something very specific which disabled travelers must know about traveling to San Diego - and even if there was we could likely just stick it into the main SD article rather than create a whole separate page for it - I suggest getting rid of this one.

San Diego with children, on the other hand, I like. It's rather weak at the moment, but I see a lot of potential in this one. (WT-en) PerryPlanet Talk 20:50, 26 November 2008 (EST)
