Chikuma edit

Hi. Thanks for starting this article-- it's coming along wonderfully so far! As far as I can tell, the Get out section was never deleted by me or anyone else. It's still there, albeit empty. What I did was add the IsPartOf info so that the breadcrumb navigation appears at the top. Oh, and by the way, you can sign your posts by typing ~~~~ at the end. I thought about putting them in, but the odds are, no one on the other end is going to speak English, and since this is the English wikivoyage site, I am assuming the users don't speak Japanese, although of course, some will. Fixed the hours for Zuisho. It was a formatting problem. And yeah, please go ahead and include phone numbers, official websites, and Japanese translators. Loads of foreign tourists can't speak Japanese, but there are literally tens of thousands of foreign English teachers (I am one) living in Japan who travel on weekends and holidays, and many of them can speak at least enough Japanese for those to be useful. It would be helpful too for us to include the actual addresses of the places, not just directions. (WT-en) texugo 02:07, 30 August 2011 (EDT)

Yes I live in Togura. My wife is an ALT. Thanks for the tip about the addresses. That will save a bit of time and as you say it is redundant. I have also taken out the "Daiji" because I don't think it is necessary - google maps doesn't need it and I don't think my Nabi does either. Does yours？ Around here 大字 is actually pronounced おおあざ which means a large section of a village, as opposed to a big character (WT-en) Nagano99 03:38, 30 August 2011 (EDT)

Oops. Just noticed you responded here. Anyway, I live in Hamamatsu, south of you in Shizuoka-ken. I used to be an ALT too, but I've been teaching corporate classes for 3 years now. Are you Japanese?

And yeah, actually I realized later that it must be おおあざ, but anyway if it's not necessary for the taxi or navi then we ought to just leave it out.

By the way. I'm wondering if you can recommend some more places to stay in Chikuma. If we can get just a handful of them there, we can bump this up to usable status. Beyond that, if there are any drinking establishments we can put in the Drink section, I'd say it's almost ready for Guide status. Bravo to you for bringing it this far!
