Mount Rinjani, new listing for Adventure Rinjani

edit

Hi Obe, please do understand that if Adventure Rinjani is reselling packages they may not be listed here. So I need to enquire if are you actually operating treks or just reselling them? This is a requirement determined by both a set wikivoyage policy and in the case of the Rinjani article is especially motivated by a history of listing misadventure and hijacking by some nefarious local operators. This is important to maintaining the integrity and credibility of this article, and anyone listed in it as a trekking provider.

Could you please provide an outline of your operation. Do you own trekking and camping equipment, do you have an on-staff trekking coordinator, which guides or group of guides do you use. Please outline your experience in providing organised treks for tourists visiting the mountain. I hope you will understand the editors of this article are striving to ensure that booking agencies, re-sellers, re-bookers, pre-payment services and assorted opportunists are excluded from the list of providers in the Mount Rinjani article.

Your website looks great and is clearly professionally designed and well thought out. Likewise your outline of trekking ethics and general quality of advice is noted. I apologise for my bluntness, however unless you can clearly outline that you are a direct provider of Mount Rinjani trekking services then your listing will have to be removed from the article. Whilst awaiting your response it has been retained in the article at this time as a gesture of good faith. Thank you for your contribution to the wikivoyage project and thank you also for noticing the inadvertent misspelling of Sembalun and the addition of the cave information to the article. I hope that what ever the outcome of this you do continue to contribute to the article and the development of the Mount Rinjani destination. Also good luck with the new venture, it looks both polished and professional. Thank you. -- (WT-en) felix 23:48, 8 November 2011 (EST)
