Elephant Butte edit

I second the welcome, and want to add my thanks for the thought you've been putting into various New Mexico articles. I think our state is one of the best-represented in all of Wikivoyage, and you're helping make it even better. One thing: I would recommend NOT doing a separate Elephant Butte article, but rather putting Elephant Butte content into the existing article on Truth or Consequences, which can use some work. It's funny -- the town (such as it is) of Elephant Butte is really more a "suburb" of T or C than Corrales, Bernalillo, etc., are of Albuquerque, even though T or C is such a dinky place. So I'd bundle that content with T or C, particularly since we don't normally do separate articles on the bodies of water themselves; see Project:Bodies of water for an explanation. -- (WT-en) Bill-on-the-Hill 11:31, 29 June 2007 (EDT)

Thanks, I remember reading that Elephant Butte got city status or something like that a while back, so I thought it might deserve its own article, T or C does seem like the approriate place for it, however. As of now it barely mentions it (then again its a small article). I'll be sure to keep my eyes out when I go and see what I can add to it. --(WT-en) Ralthor 19:30, 29 June 2007 (EDT)
