Thanks for all the great work you're doing on Monterey! One thing though, we have a pretty strict policy on external links. The key text from the Project:External links policy that I was referring to is this: Official destination links: If an official web site exists for the destination then it should be linked to within the first sentence of the article, immediately after the name of the destination. The wording might not be very clear there (I'll try and fix that), but the meaning is that the official tourism site for the destination should only be linked once in the article, right in the first sentence. Other listings, like the Maritime Museum of History for example, should have only their official website listed (in that example: http://www.montereyhistory.org/). The main reason for this policy is that we want details on our site, rather than linked to on a different site (that matters for things like off-line use of our guides).

Regarding the Grapevine Express, I actually did not remove the MST link—nor did I roll back all your changes (you can see the change I made here). With the exception of some external links issues, your edits were excellent. Perhaps you need to refresh your browser? Sometimes we have page caching issues that cause people to see outdated versions of pages unless they refresh. In any rate, I certainly hope this doesn't discourage you from editing—we could use some more great editors! --(WT-en) Peter ^Talk 14:37, 10 December 2008 (EST)
