Hello SHC!
Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

- Hey, great work on Westchester County. We just did that drive from New York (city) back home to Montreal on the 'small roads' and it was lovely. Please keep up the good work as we do that drive at least a couple times a year and are always looking for more stuff to see! (WT-en) Majnoona 12:02, 16 April 2006 (EDT)
Not to worry, I fixed the disambiguation page. FYI, there is a template that you can use to make disambiguation easier. Also, when you set one of these up, make the appropriate edit on the Project:Links to disambiguating pages page, to avoid potential problems with the disambiguator getting "orphaned." (I've done it for this one.) Keep up the good work! -- (WT-en) Bill-on-the-Hill 19:22, 29 April 2006 (EDT)
Re: Cape cod phone edits. I guess I should be making the +1 prefix on stuff, but as to the area code italics, we have to dial 10 numbers here in MA now. Appreciate the assists, though, keep it up ! (WT-en) OldPine 21:06, 4 June 2006 (EDT)
- In NYC we are stuck with the same situation. I miss the old days of dialing only 7. Nice work on New England! --(WT-en) SHC 21:15, 4 June 2006 (EDT)
- Thanks... I'll recheck the style manual, but wouldn't the 800 numbers have the area code non-italicized anyways? Do you agree that these should be +1 508-111-2222 for 10 digit dialing. I'm really not sure about the outer cape and will have to verify. It seems like Provincetown might still have 7 letter dialing. (WT-en) OldPine 21:20, 4 June 2006 (EDT)
- If it can be dialed with 10 digits, it looks like you've got the formatting correct. See Project:Phone numbers. (WT-en) SHC 21:22, 4 June 2006 (EDT)
- Yeah, at least on the upper cape it's 10 digits must be dialed. I'm going to add the international throughout tomorrow. (WT-en) OldPine 21:28, 4 June 2006 (EDT)

editNewcomers often make errors like adding Bodies of Water. It's not a mistake to assume it should be deleted in the absence of any sign in the article that it is more than just a body of water or that the newcomer understands what is expected in an article. Keep up the good work! -- (WT-en) Colin 20:35, 7 June 2006 (EDT)
