Welcome edit

Hello Shagger!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. Thanks for plunging forward so far. If you're going to continue working on Wikivoyage, you may find the tips for new contributors helpful. You should also make sure you understand our copyleft and policies and guidelines. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help and Project:Jargon, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub or on the talk page for the most appropriate article.

Thanks for all of your contributions to Antarctica - it's my favorite travel destination in the world, so it's great to see someone else contributing. For the moment I've reverted your changes to Australian Antarctic Territory - we have a Ross Sea region, and due to the somewhat contentious nature of political claims in Antarctica my preference would be that we not create regions based on political claims. There is a discussion about this on Talk:Antarctica, so feel free to discuss if you disagree, and if the consensus is to change things then that's what will happen. Hopefully we'll see more from you - my personal knowledge is limited to the Antarctic Peninsula, so it's great to see contributions from the other side of the continent! -- (WT-en) Ryan 13:38, 18 March 2006 (EST)
