Hello Speedway!
Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.
Thank you for contributing to Disneyworld. However, please have a look at our article templates and other policies before making too many changes to articles. We use a certain style here and there is a risk that you will lose your hard work if you make too many changes that do not follow the style and comply with policy. Please note that the changes you have made to the Disneyworld article read like marketing hype and sound like a copyright violation of a Disneyworld marketing site. Is this all your own work or copied from another website? -- (WT-en) Huttite 21:56, 31 Dec 2004 (EST)
Sorry if I have been too harsh, but I have decided to revert your changes to Disneyworld after viewing a similar article on Wikipedia. Frankly I thought the previous article was better. If you can add new information in your version] to the existing article, without losing the existing information and format, that would be great. For example the telephone numbers at the end should go in the section called Contact. I hope this doesn't put you off contributing. -- (WT-en) Huttite 22:35, 31 Dec 2004 (EST)
- Please accept my apologies for upsetting you. It was not my intent to upset you or destroy your article. I saw what I considered a total rewrite of the article that read as if it came from a Disney website, and was nothing like the other Disneyland articles.
- Unfortunately I have been unavoidably off-line for a few hours and been unable to respond to your expression of disappointment at Talk:Disneyworld at how unfriendly I have been to you before now. That unplanned disruption to my on-line activities also prevented me from personally repairing the damage I had earlier caused. -- (WT-en) Huttite 15:03, 1 Jan 2005 (EST)
