Hi Stephen, welcome and thanks for all your hard work! Just an FYI: an image or other work is in the public domain ONLY IF the creator of the work explicitly says "I place this in the public domain." Letting people use an image as wallpaper is not sufficient to imply that it's in the PD -- it is only sufficient to grant you permission to use it as wallpaper.
