Hello!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. You can edit your preferences to change how the software works for you. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to our wiki software, MediaWiki, look at the Wiki markup to get an idea of how to edit a page. If you need help, check out the help desk, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. (WT-en) - Cacahuate 08:16, 18 February 2007 (EST)

Copyright violations edit

Thanks for you effort on Masai Mara National Park, however the info you added was a copyvio from Wikipedia and Gapadventures.com, so I had to revert it. Feel free to use that info as a guide to write your own prose, but we can't copy it in directly. Thanks again! (WT-en) - Cacahuate 08:16, 18 February 2007 (EST)

And again on Hythe (Kent) - some or maybe all of it was taken from www.hythe-tourism.com. We can't copy in info that is under copyright, the only thing compatible with Wikivoyage that isn't written by you yourself is stuff that is specifically and clearly licensed under Creative Commons ccbysa 1.0, or something that is free of copyright and in the Public Domain. Please be careful, I hate to have to continually revert your efforts. Feel free to use the information from those sites as a guide to write your own prose, but it must be significantly different. Thanks! – (WT-en) cacahuate talk 06:32, 31 March 2007 (EDT)

P.S. - some of the pics you uploaded are nice! If you upload them to our shared site instead in the future then all of the various language versions of Wikivoyage can access them - thanks again for your contributions – (WT-en) cacahuate talk 06:32, 31 March 2007 (EDT)
