Hello!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. If you want to specialize your experience you may want to consider editing your preferences. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to the whole wiki software look at the wiki markup to get an idea of how to use the wiki markup. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. -- (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 11:12, 9 July 2006 (EDT)

A welcome from me too, and thanks for your contributions to Thiruvananthapuram! — (WT-en) Ravikiran 11:51, 9 July 2006 (EDT)

Thanks. edit

This is my first attempt at major modification of any article in wikivoyage. Thanks for the greetings.

Disambiguation edit

Yeah, you did most of it wrong. Don't take it too hard, since this is one of the most complex things you can do on Wikivoyage, but please ask first if you're not sure next time...

I've fixed up the names and the histories. (WT-en) Jpatokal 10:57, 10 January 2009 (EST)

Thanks and sorry. --(WT-en) Sulfis 04:31, 28 February 2009 (EST)

Car rental edit

Heya, per Project:External links we should "Avoid linking to..." "'Rental cars operators, in cities where they are common (10 or more operating in the city). Typically we don't provide details of national car rental chains in local guides. Providing details at the national level, and mentioning the name and location at local level is sufficient if required. "

We are frequently excessively spammed my car rental agencies, hence the hardline approach, but if there are any compelling reasons for them to be present in Trivandrum by all means go ahead, but please just include local ones (non nationwide) and include the local office' address and phone number. --(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) talk 07:04, 23 December 2009 (EST)
