Hello SuperMidget! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

Given your comment on your user page, I thought I should alert you to the fact that the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licenses do allow others to reuse your work for commercial purposes, provided they attribute you and keep it under the same free license. You might want to have a look over our Copyleft, which discusses this in more detail. We opt for a commercial friendly license, so that, for example, hotels/hostels can print out our guides and distribute them freely (despite the fact that they are commercial enterprises). --(WT-en) Peter Talk 07:21, 7 August 2008 (EDT)

The pictures I upload here may be used in any way as long as I'm given credit (or just "Wikipedia") and the license is inherited, but if users want higher resolutions, those are different pictures, so they don't fall under this license. Thanks for warning me ^^ (WT-en) SuperMidget 07:32, 7 August 2008 (EDT)

Pictures of Taiwanese food

edit

Thanks for your great work on documenting Taiwanese food, but it should go on the Taiwan page (where you'll already find quite a few dishes and pics), not Taipei. (WT-en) Jpatokal 14:02, 28 August 2008 (EDT)

I see.. I just added the pictures to the already created list. The list itself would be a duplicate of the one on Taiwan already, I didn't realize that. Feel free to move stuff to the other page, if I have time some day I might do it myself, but I'm kinda busy now. Probably have to leave a line like "please see Taiwan for Taiwanese food in general", we can list a few night market specific foods on the Taipei page perhaps?.
