Hello!
Welcome to Wikivoyage. You can edit your preferences to change how the software works for you. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to our wiki software, MediaWiki, look at the Wiki markup to get an idea of how to edit a page. If you need help, check out the help desk, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.-- (WT-en) Andrew H. (Sapphire) 06:44, 8 January 2007 (EST)

editHi, it appears that parts of the article for Akrotiri were copied from another website. We take copyright very serious. It is obvious you have a lot to offer to Wikivoyage and we do want your continued contributions, but we it needs to be original work or work that you own or have complete rights to. It is alright to use other sites for research, and encouraged, but it needs to be reworded and put in your own words. It would be appreciated if you could clean up the Akrotiri article so we do not lose any valuable work. Thanks -- (WT-en) Tom Holland (xltel) 08:17, 8 January 2007 (EST)
- Your edited look very good. Thanks. The only additional change I made was to remove the external links. We do our best to minimize external links. See Project:External links for the full policy. Thank you for your contributions and keep up the good work! -- (WT-en) Tom Holland (xltel) 05:09, 9 January 2007 (EST)
