Hi and thank you for the heads up about the account unification (and welcome to Wikivoyage).

None of the other “Ypsilon” WMF accounts are mine.

In fact I tried to register “Ypsilon” on English Wikipedia sometime in 2009 but as it was taken, I had to come up with the long and clumsy user name “Ypsilon from Finland” (which I honestly speaking would rather change to something more elegant).

Should I come up with a completely new user name, do nothing, or something else? ϒpsilon (talk) 19:44, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

@Ypsilon: Once you have created your global account, you also reserved your username for the remaining wikis. Till April 2015, all accounts will become completed global ones. For that reason, clashing accounts will be usurped. Afterwards, two or more global accounts like Ypsilon and Ypsilon from Finland can be merged by stewards like me upon request. Therefore, please create a global Ypsilon account. The rest will be completed without your intervention (except for the merge request later which I can fulfill by then).
