Hi. Thanks for your updates, but can you explain this edit? Ikan Kekek (talk) 14:53, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yes! Seemed like a nice opportunity to add a nice bit of Aylesbury humour to an otherwise very detailed and sometimes starchy article. Lemanjb (talk) 15:36, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I see, and I appreciate the explanation. But the problem is, it seemed like vandalism to me, maybe because I'm not British. Or we could just chalk it up to humor being difficult to transmit over this teletype medium a lot of the time. Ikan Kekek (talk) 23:23, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I appreciate that! If you're not happy with the twist of humour, do feel free to remove the edit. I do think, though, that most Aylesbury residents would approve- check the WikiVoyage article for High Wycombe for some precedence. It's hardly a touristy place and I think doesn't actively denigrate travel advice itself! Lemanjb (talk) 21:19, 10 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
If you preface it with "As residents would say," and maybe in parentheses something like "locals are known for a dry wit," it's fine to restore the edit. Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:29, 10 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
