Shir-El too
Hello Shir-El too and welcome to Wikivoyage!
Thank you for your edits to Israel articles!
Wikivoyage is a project with the aim to create a free, up-to-date, and reliable world-wide travel guide. It is a project under the umbrella of the Wikimedia Foundation.
To get a clearer idea about Wikivoyage and how it works, have a look at the FAQ. Our policies and guidelines, and Manual of style may be different to other wikis you have worked on. It may also be useful to read our Copyleft page, where you can find more information about our license.
Besides the English Wikivoyage, there are various other sites and language versions. The images used within our articles can be found and uploaded at Wikimedia Commons. If you understand other languages, it might be interesting to have a look at the other language versions of Wikivoyage. If your language isn't around yet, you might want to start a new language version.
If you need more information or you have questions that have not been answered in the help pages, do not hesitate to write a post in the Travellers' Pub or to ask me directly.

editHi
Here are the answers to your questions: 1. where do I find the templates for structuring information? {Sleep, Do, Go, etc.}
- There are several ways to find the templates. You can head to Wikivoyage:Article templates and pick the template appropriate for your city. Do not worry too much about whether your city is small, big or huge. Pick the headers that make sense for your city and skip the ones that don't, but do not change the standard headers. Feel free to add sub-sections.
- If you are creating a new article, above the edit box, you will find links that will add the appropriate templates for you.
2. I entered cultural information onto the Israel and Eilat pages because of my own experiences of travelers stranded by not knowing cultural ABC's. Is there or should there be a "culture/customs" heading or subheading?
- Yes, cultural information certainly has a place. You can either add a sub-section under the "Understand" section of the Israel page or add the detail to the "Respect" section of the Israel page, depending on where you think it makes sense. There is no need to repeat the same information in the Eilat page, but you can refer to or link to the appropriate section from Eilat's "Understand" page. If there is something different about Eilat's culture (more orthodox or more liberal, etc.) that should go into Eilat's Understand section.
3. And lastly: I added the item "Eilat University Campus Cafeteria" to the Eilat page including several personal observations.
- The content is good, but I'd urge you to use the listing templates. I made the change for your entry, and I realize that the other listings don't use the templates, but that is supposed to be the standard. You can find the links to the templates below the edit box, and while it is a little difficult to use to start with, you will find that it provides a good guide to what information is needed, aids in standardization and is maintainable.
Hope this helps! Feel free to ping me if you need any more clarifications or help! — Ravikiran (talk) 18:57, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
