Wolf Point is a town in northeastern Montana. About 2,500 people live there. It is the largest community on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. The reservation is home to both the Assiniboine and Sioux Nation. It is unusual to have two tribes on the same reservation.

Wolf Point is located on what Montanan's refer to as the Hi-Line. The group of towns on the Hi-line fall along Highway 2 from Culbertson to Browning. Other far northern towns are also sometimes referred to this way.

  • Lewis and Clark Disc Golf, Highway 13 (north of the river). 9-hole disc golf course.
  • Wadopana Pow-wow, +1 406 650-0636. First week in August. Traditional pow-wow with a variety of activities. Saturday has lots of things for kids.
  • Wild Horse Stampede, Marvin Brookman Stadium. Second weekend of July. Rodeo at its finest, pure western fun. The event also has a noon parade, street dance, and carnival for the young 'uns.
