Get around

edit

Route 119 is the main north/south artery connecting Connellsville to the North to the Westmoreland County communities of Scottdale and Mt. Pleasant.

It is mostly just a town where everyone works hard in a mill job or fracking natural gas and then parties on the nights and especially weekends. DJs rotate between the various bars with differing degrees of success.

You can go to Yough Park and feed the ducks.

There is a supermarket anchoring a couple of different plazas, from the Wal-Mart one, which is out of town a few minutes in neighboring Dunbar Township.

There is the Italian Oven, Double Dragon Chinese Restaurant, The Great Wall Chinese Restaurant, which has better food and service, though some claim that the General Tso's is better at the Double Dragon, and an Italian Place near the Martin's Supermarket.
