Alternative banners

The current banner is an awkward view of the bottom of the canyon, so I've cropped some alternatives.

@Ikan Kekek: the positioning seems a bit dull... A tree in the middle of a Canyon doesn't usually brighten up the view. The picture must make viewers believe that the canyon is a bottemless pit(added details in a photographer's view.) Arep Ticous 14:56, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

OK, I understand your point of view, but I think the 2nd alternative looks like a better-quality picture (at this size, anyway), and I don't get the sense that that tree is at the bottom of the canyon. Ikan Kekek (talk) 17:12, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

• Considering the way this is going, I think it may be worth including both banners in the article, the "winner" (whichever choice that turns out to be) at the top and the "loser" somewhere else lower in the article, since on each side there seems to be quite enthusiastic support. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 22:54, 21 May 2019 (UTC)

• Resolution is far from the only element of picture quality. Have you ever looked at Commons:Quality image candidates, particularly the discussion at the bottom of the page in "Consensual Review"?
