edit

I have completed the expansion of this article in the past two months, making it look more complete and rich. I enjoy working as an editor, but due to my limited experience, I would like to invite more experienced individuals to review and help correct errors or areas for improvement. I would greatly appreciate it. Jzhdylb (talk) 14:28, 29 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

I think there can be a better photo than the current "Cangzhou city view". Half of the photo is a construction site! Are you able to find out the ticket price for train tickets from major cities to Cangzhou? Any other ways to get in (e.g. long distance bus)? It seems like you mixed up "getting in" and "getting around". Getting in section is for tourists to get to the city. Getting around is how a tourist navigates around the city (by local bus, boat, walking, etc.) OhanaUnitedTalk page 16:26, 29 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you so much for your suggestions, some of them seem very pertinent! But I think there is something wrong with Get around. I didn't notice this when expanding the original version, I will fix it further~ Jzhdylb (talk) 05:38, 30 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
What currency are you using for train ticket prices? In articles about China, prices should be shown in Chinese currency, e.g., ¥100. Ground Zero (talk) 12:10, 30 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
I followed the "Example: "$15" or "$15 to Chicago" prompt in the template and chose to use US dollars as the unit, but I think what you said makes sense, so I changed the currency unit. If it can effectively help more people is the most important. Jzhdylb (talk) 12:52, 30 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ground Zero The above makes me think we should add a non-USD example to the template's prompt, but I don't know how to do it. Hanyangprofessor2 (talk) 07:10, 1 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Hanyangprofessor2: I'm sorry. I don't know either. You could start a discussion on the template's talk page. Ground Zero (talk) 12:29, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ground Zero I can, but what is the name of the template in question? Hanyangprofessor2 (talk) 06:11, 11 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Hanyangprofessor2: I think the template is Wikivoyage:Listings. Ground Zero (talk) 13:45, 13 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
On your talk page, I told you:
"We know that the places listed are in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, because the article is called "Cangzhou". In English Wikivoyage, it is incorrect to include the city name in addresses in listings, unless the listing is in a different city (i.e., not in Cangzhou)"
Why do you ask for advice and then ignore it? You must correct your errors. It is not the job of other editors to fix your mistakes. Ground Zero (talk) 12:14, 30 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Why do you say that? I have changed the address names such as No. 2, Yuhong Road, Yunhe District, Cangzhou city Heibei Province to No. 2, Yuhong Road, Yunhe District. I will continue to check and correct some errors, including some that are not in my own version. But what is certain is that this was not my intention, so don’t criticize harshly. Thank you for your tolerance. Jzhdylb (talk) 12:31, 30 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
I was harsh because you added the city and province names in these edits just two days ago, after I had taken the time to explain Wikivoyage style to you on your talk page. Ground Zero (talk) 12:42, 30 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
So thank you again for your help. I have made changes after learning about this rule. There seems to be no similar problem in the current version. Maybe you can choose to proofread the list if you have time. Jzhdylb (talk) 12:46, 30 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
And I thank you for making these changes. Ground Zero (talk) 13:27, 30 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Return to "Cangzhou" page.
