Latest comment: 3 days ago by Ground Zero in topic Rural area article

I'm starting to work on this article; it's my first stab at wikivoyage, so any help and/or advice would be appreciated! -Jane

Hello

Would it be possible to display a link to my web site from wikivoyage/Corfu to my web site which is Corfu replated and in return I will place a 88x31 button banner on my front page as a return link.

My details are:-

Title Corfu URL

Description Corfu, Holiday information and resort guide for the Island of Corfu, Including photo Gallery, Greek food, Travel guide

Thank you for taking the time to read this request

Regards

Alan

The first thing I'd suggest (assuming anyone is still reading this) is that you (both? all three?) format, sign, and date your Talk page comments properly. No one can tell who wrote the above, or when. The next thing I'd suggest is that everyone read the relevant Policy and Style pages (start with the Help link at left.) You'll find there for instance that links to other travel guide web sites are explicitly prohibited (unless they are the official site, meaning run by a government.) Copyvio

edit

I can't tell if some of this is a copyvio or not and I'm not sure how far back to revert. Anyone got any insight? -- (WT-en) Sapphire(Talk) • 16:36, 6 April 2009 (EDT)

Sleep listings

edit

I was just detouting some of the sleep listings, which are absolutely lousy with touting, but actually, none of them should be in the article at all. I don't have the energy to move them tonight, but I may soon move all of them here as a temporary measure. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:34, 1 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Rural area article

edit

I propose to create a rural area article for South Corfu, incorporating the village of Kavos. This would cover the area of the Municipality of w:South Corfu, shown in red on this map. This article would include many of the Sleep and Do listings in this region article.

The same approach could probably be taken for the Municipality of w:North Corfu, which has only two poorly developed village articles. Ground Zero (talk) 21:48, 27 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
