Split between China and Japan?

edit

This is a relevant travel topic, and there are similarities in the way Japan and China treat 'Golden week', but they are scheduled differently (and not at the same time) and have different travel implications. Any issue for me to split into Chinese Golden Weeks (plural) and Japanese Golden Week (singular) . ? Andrewssi2 (talk) 23:02, 3 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Splitting seems fine to me. I suppose most of the things in common between Golden Week in China and Golden Week in Japan are things that are also true of many other multi-day national holidays (such as Thanksgiving weekend in the US). I find the suggested titles slightly awkward, and would suggest Golden Week in China (even though it happens twice a year) and Golden Week in Japan. —Granger (talk · contribs) 01:26, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Everything in this article seems to split between "Japan" and "China", so it makes sense to create two separate articles. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 02:35, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
I don't object. Ground Zero (talk) 03:41, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps refine slightly to Golden Week holidays in China and Golden Week in Japan Andrewssi2 (talk) 04:21, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
That works for me. —Granger (talk · contribs) 05:37, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
I split up, but is there a way to make the disambiguation a bit more obvious? Thanks Andrewssi2 (talk) 07:24, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────The disambiguation seems okay to me. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 14:34, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
