Needs help

Now that the island is a World Heritage site, I think it might be a good nominee for featuring on the main page. See Wikivoyage_talk:Destination_of_the_month_candidates#Gulangyu.

However, it needs work before that would be appropriate. Eat, drink & sleep could all use more listings & there are some dead links. The biggest problem, though, is at Gulangyu#Get_in; apparently the old easy way to the island no longer works. Can anyone confirm? Are there alternatives like jumping on a small boat at the main dock rather than going across town to take a relatively expensive ferry with a longer route?
