Touting troubadours
editI noticed the little Troubadour complex had five listings here... Is it worth combining them and listing them all under one section (perhaps "do"), or should we just nuke the tout? --(WT-en) Peter Talk 18:04, 7 December 2009 (EST)
Hotel and restaurant pictures
editThis site's policy is that hotels should be depicted in our articles only when they are attractions themselves. I'd say that pictures of the following hotels are not particularly interesting to look at and should be removed from the article: Marriott London Kensington (with touty filename), Park Tower Knightsbridge (in other words, all but the Courtfield, which is a fairly pretty building).
The same policy more or less obtains for restaurants, and I don't feel either of the restaurant photos (Babylon and Tom Aikens Restaurant) are particularly interesting to look at, so I'd support deleting both of those thumbnails, too.
Your thoughts? Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:08, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
- Definitely agree on the restaurants and the Marriott, though believe it or not the Park Tower is an iconic London hotel. I'll keep that and delete the others. --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 00:24, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
- Cool, and thanks. Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:05, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
Hyde Park Hotel
editGrand old hotels#Western Europe has a listing, which apparently should point to here:
- 1 Hyde Park Hotel (Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park London) (London, UK).
According to its web page it is at "66 Knightsbridge, SW1X 7LA London". As I don't know the hotel, nor the neighbourhood, I hesitate to add it myself.

- I added it anyway, move it if it doesn't belong, and add info if you can. –LPfi (talk) 09:45, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
