Merge? If so, where?
editThis is really a non-functional article, and it would be even if we added information about the two w:Mount Prospect, Illinois#Places of interest. But merge to where? Des Plaines? Arlington Heights? Elk Grove Village? All appear to border on Mount Prospect, per Google Maps and have functional Wikivoyage articles.
Now, all this said, Mount Prospect had a population of 56,852 per the 2020 Census, so someone who knows the town and could add various listings for restaurants and so on could probably turn this into a viable article. But until then... Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:25, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- I've added a merge tag per this discussion in order to categorize this article. Could this be merged into Arlington Heights and then be renamed as Arlington Heights and Mount Prospect? SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 08:14, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- Before reading this, I looked at maps and landed on Des Plaines as the best target for a merger. That article includes a marker for a train station that lies between the two towns, and looks like it would be useful for getting to MP for those interested in visiting the kids' parkour gym, which seems to be why this article exists. - Fine with me. Thanks guys. Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:30, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- Support merging to Des Plaines, per Ground Zero. Veracious (talk) 08:28, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- Done. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 12:44, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
