Talk:Parque Florestal de Monsanto

Individual parks usually do not get their own articles. If there isn't more to say about this, the information should be moved to Lisbon/North, and the article deleted. Ground Zero (talk) 18:40, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Deleted or turned into a redirect? Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:02, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
It is a city park of 10 km2. I don't think it is a likely search term, so I would delete under Wikivoyage:What is an article?. Ground Zero (talk) 21:19, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Got it. However, if content from here is merged, isn't a redirect necessary for the edit history? Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:30, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
I have added this park to Lisbon/North using text adapted from Wikipedia, and without reference to this article. I think this article can be deleted per Wikivoyage:What is an article?. Ground Zero (talk) 00:03, 14 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Yup, think it can be speedied now SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 00:07, 14 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
OK, go ahead. Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:42, 14 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Ground Zero, Ikan Kekek: On another note, I did create an article about a park six times smaller than this park a couple of months ago, would that have to be deleted? (it's Malabar Headland National Park) SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 02:38, 14 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
The Malabar Headland article has a surprising amount of information about such a small park. It is a useful article for travellers, so I would oppose deleting it. This article does not, though, so it is more useful to list it in a city article. Ground Zero (talk) 02:46, 14 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
and then we have Sydney Harbour National Park, a star park article for a park with only an area of 3.92 km2... definitely not deleting that ;-) SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 02:53, 14 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
