Talk:Pontevedra
Moved from "See"
editI can't tell if this is an official tourism site:
Is it?

- According to Wikipedia, this is the official tourism site. The other one might be of the regional tourism association, but there is no way of telling unless you can read Galician, I guess. Vidimian (talk) 09:03, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'll link the city name to the English version of that site. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:25, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
Move page
editPlease leave your thoughts on my proposal to move this page at Talk:Pontevedra.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 20:05, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
The conversation on the now deleted talk page went thusly: --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 19:31, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
Since only one of the Pontevedras has an article, realistically the only one which will ever have an article (the Filipino ones' WP articles are basically empty, while the Argentine one doesn't have a WP article), I suggest this page be deleted to make way for Pontevedra (Spain) to be moved into its place. Disambiguations needn't list every place in the world with the same name - the traveller, and not the obsessive cataloguer of town names, comes first. Any thoughts? --ThunderingTyphoons! - Support. When more articles are added with this name, we can bring back the disambiguation page, but for now we shouldn't have it. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 00:00, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for your response, mate. I don't think this needs dragging out over days, so unless there are any more comments in the next few hours, I'll effect the change.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 13:49, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
