Consistency

edit

Let's take out "Skiing on" for the sake of consistency. I don't see that overly descriptive name on other ski resorts. NathanRlds (talk) 03:11, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

That makes sense to me. Any other opinions? Ikan Kekek (talk) 03:40, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
It's basically a Destination article, so it does indeed make sense. Mrkstvns (talk) 19:33, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
No, because then it will become a second but narrower Tongariro National Park. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 20:19, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sounds like maybe it should be merged. There's not a lot of unique content here. Mrkstvns (talk) 21:14, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Give Jpatokal a bit of time first. It was only created 2 days ago. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 05:27, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I tried to fix it but messed up. I accidentally deleted the background instead of fixing the inconsistancy!!! Dang, I'm sorry. Still kinda new it this, thought that is no excuse. Is there a way to restore the image? I have no problem with it. NathanRlds (talk) 23:25, 3 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, this is a bit of weird one, because the local ski industry uses a different name (Ruapehu) than the national park (Tongariro) and the ski resorts are super seasonal, AFAIK they're entirely closed outside the ski season. So trying to cram non-ski stuff here is awkward, and trying to cram ski stuff into the NP article is equally awkward.

I'm planning to visit in July and will expand this as the date approaches, but there's still almost half a year to go. Jpatokal (talk) 06:06, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
