- I assume so. I think it only sounds cumbersome because we're not used to it. "Western North Carolina" is a similar phrase that's commonly used. —Granger (talk · contribs) 14:35, 15 February 2019 (UTC)

- Yes we should, for clarity. Macedonia (Greece) splits that region into west, central and eastern Macedonia too, although there are not subregion articles for those places. Ground Zero (talk) 18:16, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
