Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway

Name's Frank and I live in Zion National Park much of the year. I am an avid hiker, climber, canyoneer and backpacker in Zion and the surrounding area.

Projects

Basically I enjoy Zion National Park and any of the recreation areas near it including Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. I also spend a lot of time at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Even though I live in Zion much of the year (when working there seasonally) I often stay in places on the east side of the park during the parts of the year when I am not working including Mount Carmel Junction and Kanab. This year I have spent time working in Bryce Canyon. I need to get back on here and get some of my favorite places up to star status!

Where I've been

I have traveled quite a bit in the United States and Canada, but I am most familar with Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. I spent a good deal of my life in Las Vegas, Nevada including going to school at UNLV. My favorite place other than Southern Utah is the Hawaiian Islands. I enjoyed the out of the way places on Oahu like the Jackass Trail and Goat Island.
