Introduction
Welcome to my profile! I'm a graduate of the University of California at Davis and currently reside in Southern California. I've traveled to many countries, including Canada, Mexico, Iran, France, Belgium, Tunisia, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain. Domestically, I've seen many western and eastern states and have visited almost a dozen national parks.
I speak English and Farsi (Persian) as native languages. While in high school I studied French and received a BA in the language from UC Davis (although, it is hard to stay current with French when living in California!). I received a BS in Community & Regional Development from UCD as well. Currently, I am learning Spanish.
Wikivoyage is one of my favorite websites for travel advice because it's written and constantly updated by users from all over. I have substantially contributed to the pages on Upland (my home town since 1992), the Inland Empire, and Palm Desert.
