I have no idea what your motivation is for being here, but any user whose first action is to nominate themselves for administratioon privileges does not inspire confidence. Images

• All images should be uploaded to Wikivoyage Shared. All images uploaded here on English wikivoyage will be deleted.
• If an image is under copyright it cannot be uploaded - you can not just take any image from flickr and upload here, only "CC-by-(sa)" images work for Wikivoyage. If you want to be safe, you can use Wikimedia Commons instead, where all images can be reused here, but be careful to select the correct license.

Romania

Hi. Your talk pages seem to be attracting lots of criticism and I am afraid I have to add to it. Pleased to see that you have started an article on Wa: I was there 25 years ago!! But your contribution is lifted word for word from Wikipedia. Wikivoyage cannot be just a recycling of Wikipedia.(WT-en) Shep 15:40, 29 March 2010 (EDT)

Diacritics

Have you really got nothing better to do than moving existing articles to new names with diacritics? A complete waste of time. Are you also correcting all of the articles that link to these to avoid re-directs?--(WT-en) Burmesedays 05:59, 30 March 2010 (EDT)

For example, you moved Botoșani to Botoşani. You should also change the pages that link to Botoșani in order to avoid unnecessary redirects. As I said, all a bit of a waste of time really. --(WT-en) Burmesedays 06:08, 30 March 2010 (EDT)

And when you create a new article with a name using accents or diacritics you MUST create the simple English version as a re-direct. Eg: Osnabrück (county) should have a re-direct from Osnabruck (county) (I have done that now). Thanks. --(WT-en) Burmesedays 12:13, 31 March 2010 (EDT)

"Starting with Unicode 5.2, the next version of the Unicode Standard to be released in September-October 2009, Unicode plans to recommend only the comma-using characters, U+0218..021B to be used for Romania" Also you might want to take a look at this chart which clearly lables cedilia as incorrect.

"Termenul folosit în Unicode pentru descrierea acestei litere este „litera S cu virgulă dedesubt”. Lucrările româneşti, atît vechi cît şi recente, dau acestui semn diacritic denumirea de sedilă, dar în anul 2003 un consiliu ştiinţific al Institutului de Lingvistică al Academiei Române a stabilit că semnul corect este virgula, nu sedila. Acest semn diacritic se foloseşte exclusiv în limba română. Totuşi, pentru că multe sisteme nu pot afişa corect litera S cu virgulă, ea se înlocuieşte adesea cu litera S cu sedilă, Ş, ca în acest articol. Litera S cu sedilă este de fapt proprie unor limbi precum turca." [2]

It's not that I don't know Cedelia's are in widespread usage, it's just that I find it annoying that you are starting to make mass moves of perfectly fine articles names, without discussing it first, when there is no clear cut standard. I know discussing is hard when your English understanding is so poor, but maybe that should hint that your efforts are better spend on Romanian wikivoyage, than here. --(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) ^talk 17:14, 31 March 2010 (EDT)

Good thing there is an English Wikipedia page telling me that "is why almost all Romanian texts still use S-cedilla (or even S), despite the recommendation to migrate from cedilla to comma."

I also find your translational weird since "nu" means no/not/never and "sedila" means cedelia, that seems to hint that it is translated "not/never cedelia", I also find it strange that Google translate translates the sentence into "in 2003 a scientific council of the Institute of Linguistics of the Romanian Academy has determined that correct sign is a comma, not cedilla"
