Hello RogerR! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

Thanks for your edits on Barbuda. If I can help in any way, please leave a message on my talk page. -- (WT-en) OldPine 12:18, 30 December 2007 (EST)

Codrington should get any listings that apply to there. Generally speaking the region articles do not get Eat and Sleep listings unless there is nowhere else to put them. Also, please see Project:External links, as non-primary links are generally not allowed, only the facility's own website. -- (WT-en) OldPine 12:37, 30 December 2007 (EST)

With one exception (the empty "Get out" section), it's definitely a guide level article. "Get out" should have information on "next destinations" like Anegada and Tortola. (And maybe even some other smaller, uninhabited islands for diving/snorkeling that I'm unaware of, although these might better be included in the see/do sections.) Here's an example of what a small get out section should look like.

The only things that stand out that would bar it from being a star, are perhaps slightly more specific directions to each listed restaurant/bar/hotel (since there are no addresses on the island), and maybe a brief subsection of "Get around" for byciclists—aren't there bike rentals on the island? That and a tourist map, which I might be able to throw together at some point—I've always been interested in doing a small island map. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 20:08, 24 March 2008 (EDT)

Hey Roger, I put together a map of Virgin Gorda, but I had to guess for some of the restaurant and bar locations. Would you mind taking a look at it to make sure there aren't any glaring errors. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 20:52, 20 June 2008 (EDT)

Great thanks! I've made the changes, and I think we're set to feature this article on the main page as soon as November (the discussion is here if you're interested). I just have one last question, how do you dial numbers if you're making a local call from within Virgin Gorda—do you have to dial 284? Or can you just dial the last 7 digits? --(WT-en) Peter Talk 00:01, 23 June 2008 (EDT)
