Hello 2603:8081:1600:DD6B:EC54:DCEB:52F8:4F96! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.
If you are a Wikipedian then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:
- NPOV → be fair (not quite the same thing!)
- be bold → plunge forward
- Village pump → travellers' pub
- External links → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.
- sandbox → graffiti wall
- stub tagging → Article status
It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the travellers' pub or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!
Thanks for starting the Talk:Europe#Cities thread, and please read the responses to your post, which include some links for your reference. In addition, 1-liner listings would be a useful page for you, as it explains the Wikivoyage style of brief listings for cities and other destinations in articles at the regional level or higher in the site's breadcrumb navigation hierarchy, which is how the site is organized (typically, something like Continent/Multi-country region/Country/Multi-state region/State, province or smaller region/Smaller region/City).
I'd be happy to answer any question you have and hope you stick around and continue working with us!
All the best,
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
