Hello, Antiv31! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.--ϒpsilon (talk) 09:37, 6 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Telstra

edit

I'm sorry that you were caught by the Telstra filter. We have a very persistent editor who just copies Wikipedia content into Wikivoyage articles and just won't stop. I do monitor it to ensure that edits from other people (such as yourself) are not caught as well.

If you strongly feel that you want to edit anonymously from your Telstra connection, then please feel free to raise your concern on Wikivoyage:User_ban_nominations. Thanks, --Andrewssi2 (talk) 22:50, 18 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

FicTravel

edit

Thanks, Have correct one spelling mistake. You might want to ask in the Pub what Tweaks the MediaWiki here uses, compared to a bare install.

In terms of destination articles on FicTravel these will divide into 3 basic types..

  1. Satire of real destinations c. 2015 CE.
  2. Destination at a particular Era. Such as a travel guide to the "Festival of Britan".
  3. Destination in an alternate reality or timeline, such as Airstrip One.

Obviously there will be crossovers, but these are what I ideintifed as possible basic types..

You also have travel topics as here.. (The current Joke article on time travel here would probably be at least 5 articles on FicTravel.) ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 20:00, 21 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I use currently MediaWiki 1.24 with CheckUser and DynamicPageList. I'm going to give you admin rights so you can help out. Antiv31 (talk) 23:17, 21 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
