Hello Edechiene! Thank you for your contributions to Wikivoyage. Welcome. I hope that you'll keep sharing information with fellow travellers through this project.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines, style, and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

Addresses in listings

edit

In the Gaborone, Botswana, article, we don't include "Gaborone, Botswana" in addresses, because the reader already knows that the article is about places in Gaborone.

Also, we use standard time and date formats in articles to make it easier for readers to find information.

For days, we use M Tu W Th F Sa Su.

For times, we use either the 12-hour clock or the 24-hour clock, depending on what is more common in that country. See Talk:Botswana -- at the top of the page there is a box that tells us to use the 24-hour clock, e.g., 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-17:00.

At the top of Talk:Nigeria, the formatting box tells us to use the 12-hour clock for Nigeria articles, e.g., 9AM-noon and 1-5PM.

I hope this information helps you become a better contributor to Wikivoyage. Thank you for your contributions so far. Ground Zero (talk) 17:59, 12 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Edechiene: I provided information to you to help you be a better contributor to Wikivoyage. Why have you ignored the advice I provided in these edits, [1], [2], [3]. And do not type all in capital letters-- see Wikivoyage:Capitalization. Please fix your mistakes. It is not the job of other editors to clean up after you.
