Hello, Exhydria! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.
Thank you very much for your helpful edits.
I did revert your edit in the Michigan guide, though. I understand perfectly that the "Buy" section had a setup to add listing for individual antique shops, but I think that was not a great idea, as we try to keep specific listings in guides to cities and cover only the broad outlines in articles for entire states. I don't see an article for Hillsdale, though. I would suggest putting a listing for that shop in the article for the nearest town that has an article. Also, when you have a chance, have a look at the don't tout page, which gives some guidelines for avoiding what reads like an advertisement (even if not intended as one). You can see your listing here, on the left side of the linked page. You can also click on "edit" on the left side to cut the listing and paste it to a working subpage of your user page, such as User:Exhydria/Sandbox.
I hope I haven't cramped your style too much. Please let me know if there's any way I can help you.
All the best,
